Purpose of the Role
This exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of our Bank Reconciliation Teams in Leeds to complete reconciliation and process activities for our back-office Insurance Broking Accounts Centre
This role supports the Business' ability to adequately protect our client's money under the CASS 5 regime at the same time as providing an efficient and thorough back-office IBA solution within Ardonagh Advisory.
What you will do
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more.
Perform reconciliation and process activities across one or more of the following disciplines:- Cash posting & allocation,
- Bank Reconciliation
- Client & Insurer Payments,
- Payaways (intermediary payment processes)
- Client Money Calculations
- Bordereaux
- Manage your own workload to ensure work is completed to the agreed Service Levels (SLAs) and quality standards.
- Communicate and build relations with other IBA departments and internal Brokers and businesses to investigate and resolve any queried transactions to avoid further delays.
- Be proactively involved and support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
- Support audit requests for information and process walk-through exercises.
- Fulfil your responsibilities in line with agreed processes to achieve agreed objectives, and in doing so, ensure compliance with the client and insurer money rules within the FCA Handbook, identifying and recording any breaches of FCA rules.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Ideally financial experience in an insurance broking environment
- Client Money (Cass 5) knowledge
- GCSE Maths and English (grade 5 or above) or equivalent
