Effingham Golf Club situated atop of the north Downs affords fantastic views of the London skyline and provides a fantastic location to play golf and socialize with friends.

The Georgian Clubhouse provides superb, modernized facilities and is set in a terrific location hidden away from the hustle and bustle of city crowds.

We offer food of the highest quality and a wide selection of beers, wines and other refreshments. Our event rooms provide seating for up to one hundred guests and we regularly host weddings and celebratory events.

Our Club mission is to provide a progressive and sociable Club, and our Food and Beverage team is critical in delivering this.

Overview of Role

Supporting the Clubhouse Manager in the smooth running of the food and beverage operations at the Club, maintaining excellence in quality, guest relations and providing supervision to junior colleagues.

We are in the people business, so a personable and approachable nature is critical, you must enjoy being hands on and leading from the front.

We work straight shifts (no split shifts), our service is orientated to daytime service and early evening service, with only occasional late nights to host events.

Experienced in supervising in a hospitality environment.
Able to identify and maximise sales by "selling through service"
To uphold the set quality standard with respect to food, beverage, and customer service.
Delivery of daytoday business, private functions, and events
Experience of running events including weddings and private dining.
Support and participate in all internal training initiatives.
A mature and flexible approach to work

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
