Healthcare Assistant


Location:
Nursing and Care Homes in the Devon


Are you passionate about providing care and support to the elderly and vulnerable individuals in nursing and care homes? If so, we have the perfect job opportunity for you.


We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in nursing and care homes in the Devon area.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.

You will also provide emotional support and companionship to our residents to ensure their well-being and quality of life.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administering medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitoring residents' health and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents

Requirements:


  • At least 6 months experience working as a Healthcare assistant in the UK
  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Valid RTW in the UK
  • A valid DBS certificate
