We are seeking to recruit a Band - Radiology Medical Secretary on behalf of our clients based in Antrim Area Hospital.
JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of this job is to provide a high level degree of secretarial services to Consultant Medical staff and the team within the Northern Trust.
The Post holder will be able to work on own initiative and to deadlines, prioritising any work with little or no supervision, with a substantial degree of accountability.
The post holder will ensure appropriate communication with patients and outside organisations on behalf of the medical team.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- (a) 2 years' experience as a medical secretary/team secretary_
- OR_
- C) to include English language (or equivalent)_
- Plus_
- 2 years medical secretary/team secretary experience_
- OR_
- In addition to (a), (b) or (c) applicants must possess a proven working knowledge of Sectra RIS_
Work under own initiative and to deadlines, prioritises own work with little supervision, with a substantial degree of accountability.
Understand patient confidentiality
Work as part of a team
Interview / Test
Knowledge
Knowledge of computerised systems
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages
Knowledge of developments in HPSS
Knowledge of the role of a medical secretary

This post is;
Full-time - Initially 3 months with possible extension
Weekly pay
37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday
Salary:
£12.25 per hour
