Role:
Test Lead**
Duration: 6 Months Contract with Inside IR35**
Work Location: London, UK

Skill Profile:
Test Automation Engineer (Mobile Banking App)

Key Tasks:


  • Provide support to developers and product owners in utilizing test management tools effectively for streamlined workflows.
  • Actively contribute to the development of new testing concepts and tools and integrate them into automated test suites.
  • Offer handson assistance to teams in implementing software testing processes, including endtoend automation and

    API testing
    for
    mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with international teams in Switzerland and India to synchronize testing efforts and ensure consistency across projects.

Qualifications:

-
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology.

  • Over 5 years of experience in the Software Testing industry, with a focus on Test Automation scripting (preferably using
    Appium, Selenium, Java
    ) or Test-Driven Development (TDD)
    , alongside Manual Testing using Zephyr/Jira
    API
    , Postman/
    SoapUI, and
    Basic Linux.
  • Strong understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Understanding of
    mobile development platforms (iOS, Android) and their ecosystems including SDKs and version control systems like
    Git and continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
  • Proven ability to translate user stories and acceptance criteria into effective test cases.
  • Handson experience with
    Agile methodologies** and various testing approaches.
  • Proficiency in
    Test Case Management tools, particularly
    Jira Zephyr
    API    .
  • Preferred domain knowledge in
    Banking and Finance.
  • Certification in testing methodologies such as
    ISTQB or CSTE is a plus.
  • Selforganized, strong communication skills with excellent English communication skills for global team coordination.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, perseverance, enthusiasm, and a systematic approach to problemsolving.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and other project ceremonies.
