Description

Sales Assistant based in the Colchester branch of this leading electrical wholesaler, offering an excellent basic salary and benefits package (including a competitive bonus scheme).

The Role of the Sales Assistant:
Dealing with account and cash customers on the Trade Counter.
Following up quotations and tenders.
Supporting the branch in the stores where required (cable cuts, stock replenishment, goods-in/out etc.)

Essential:
Hardworking and ambitious.
Willingness to be involved in all areas of the branch where required
Determination to succeed.
Excellent communication and customer care skills (face-to-face and via the telephone).
The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
A great team player.
High standards of organisation and presentation for the Warehouse and the Trade Counter.
Good product knowledge.

Desirable:
Sales experience working in the electrical industry.
Sound knowledge of the infrastructure in the local area.
A valid UK driving licence.
