We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK and Ireland.
Preferred location would be Reading, Berkshire.Salary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the SSE Solar and Battery Projects Services team to support the development and construction of an investment portfolio of Solar, Battery and Co-located Projects, to drive significant Business Growth in the UK & Ireland.
As Document Controller, you'll be accountable for the effective management, distribution and control of all Project Documentation across the Portfolio throughout the lifecycle of project.
A key part of this role will involve working closely with Project Managers and the wider Projects team to ensure successful delivery of the project.
Some of your other main responsibilities will include;- Ensuring all project documents are managed in line with procedures.
- Recording and distributing Contractor & 3rd Party Documentation interfacing with their Document Control Teams.
- QA checking of receipted Documents from Contractors and 3rd Parties prior to distribution to Project Team.
- Supporting the Document Control Lead with management and control of Project Templates.
- Ensuring all users have had required access and training document management, support training workshops where required.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Demonstrable knowledge working on Engineering and Construction of Large Capital Projects.
- A solid understanding of Document Control Systems and Processes.
- Experience and understanding of Supplier and Engineering documentation.
- The ability to use and manage Workflow processes.
- Excellent MS Office and SharePoint skills.
