Grade 7 (£37,099 - £44,263) with additional market Pay Supplement

IT Services is a friendly, vibrant and fast-moving department with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and high-quality digital technology services to our staff and students.

We now seek to appoint an experienced
Cybersecurity and Network Specialist. Reporting to the
Cybersecurity and Network Manager you will have extensive cybersecurity and network support experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • A knowledge of security risk and assurance practices including detailed knowledge of security control frameworks.
  • Proficiency in network configuration and management.
  • Experience of using SIEM analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
