An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Harrogate Foundation District SLT department for a band 7 SLT to work with voice and ENT dysphagia.

You will provide highly specialist input to patients with complex dysphonia and patients who have swallowing difficulties secondary to an ENT aetiology.

The role offers the opportunity to develop further ENT and voice skills in a dynamic MDT. You will lead and coordinate the ENT SLT voice clinic and also manage the SLT voice service.

You will have the opportunity to refer into the weekly videofluoroscopy clinic, so competence/experience in this area is beneficial.

A fibreoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) clinic is also being developed and there may be opportunities to develop skills in this area in the future.

You will work closely with the team lead and wider SLT team, and support their training, supervision and line management as required by the service.
