About the team:


The role will join the EMEA Human Resources team, which is made up of HR specialists, L&D, Reward and the Talent Acquisition (TA) team working across Fragomen's 13 offices in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

We work closely together in a dynamic and engaging way to support the firm in all of its HR needs.


The role will report into the London based TA Manager (EMEA) and will also work closely with HR and TA colleagues across the EMEA region.


About the role:


This role is a fantastic opportunity to help lead the delivery and management of both lateral recruitment and early careers for an international firm, focusing mainly on the UK practice.


Early Careers (70%):


Working alongside the Senior Manager overseeing Early Careers, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of Early Careers programmes across EMEA (including training contracts, internships, work experience and junior level positions) as well as the facilitation of Early Careers events and new initiatives.

You will liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders across the firm at all levels and will be the key point of contact for Early Careers.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Become the key and trusted daytoday contact point internally and externally on Early Careers
  • Develop and lead university campus engagement across the region through identifying partner Universities, building and maintaining relationships with key University contacts, identifying Fragomen alumni to attend events, and the production of materials to be used at events and throughout the year
  • Designing and facilitating assessment centres and recruitment events
  • Ensuring diversity and inclusion strategic priorities are implemented within the recruitment process
  • Run and manage the EMEA Summer Internship programme including induction, placements and training programme
  • Manage Work Experience programmes including coordination, facilitation of sessions and point of contact for students

Lateral Recruitment (30%):

Key responsibilities include:

  • You will be the key and trusted daytoday recruitment partner for UK Partners and Senior Management across both lateral recruitment and early careers, working as a trusted advisor and ensuring a high level of service at all times
  • Managing the end to end recruitment process, from advertising, sourcing and screening, through assessment process, offer management and onboarding
  • Becoming an SME in the legal and immigration markets, offering insightful and informative advice to your client groups, and using your market knowledge to inform hiring strategies
  • Partner closely with the UK HR Managers to ensure a smooth and cohesive recruitment service is offered
  • Managing and updating recruitment trackers regularly to ensure accuracy of data and reporting

About you:


To be successful in this role you will ideally have a background working in both experienced hire and early careers recruitment.

This experience will have ideally been gained in a legal or professional services environment.


You will be comfortable and experienced in engaging with senior stakeholder, with the proven ability to build trust and strong working relationships.

As well as this you will need to have excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Also required:

  • Previous experience of running endtoend recruitment processes at a range of levels across both lateral recruitment and early careers (including experience with training contract recruitment)
  • Previous experience of designing and facilitating early careers programmes (internships/work experience), including running assessment centres
  • Experience with online assessment tools
