We are currently recruiting for a
Senior Purchasing Plannerfor a modern, well-established client in the
Wiltshirearea.

Main Duties:

Take responsibility for the purchasing value stream
Fill in for other senior positions, including Purchasing Planners and Planning Coordinators when necessary
Address supplier issues before involving the Supplier Development Team
Be visible and available to internal customers
Collaborate with Planners and Supplier Development Managers to align future capacities
Assist in managing inventory to meet FY targets
Provide process management support for the UK databases
Participate in managing the implementation of new products and the allocation of new workload to the Planning team
Take ownership of the Goods In scheduling plan with the Senior Manufacturing Planner
Take responsibility for approving and monitoring Airfreight signoff
Take ownership of Demurrage and other additional freight costs towards FY targets
Own the daily tracking of the Short Lead Order requests process, including report management and developing process improvement plans

Required Skills:

Hold a CIPS qualification or be actively working towards an equivalent procurement qualification.
Have relevant industry experience.
Demonstrate excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
