My client is recruiting for an Analyst to join their team.

Based in London this role will be paying £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

A new role has been created within the Asset Surveillance Team as a result of the need to expand the structure and to support to the wider team.

The role will be focussed on data, project management tasks and preparing credit papers associated with portfolios.
The role will support multiple Asset Managers but will be largely targeted on a single client portfolio.

To provide administrative and analytical support to Asset Managers.

Covering a wide range of tasks and activities, demonstrating a flexible approach and the ability to complete such tasks independently with mínimal supervision.


Purpose

  • The Analyst will primarily focus on providing proactive support to a growing team of Asset Managers, across all aspects as they manage a portfolio of loans/debt facilities and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and timelines.
  • To manage multiple deliverables to meet preagreed deadlines and deliver a consistent high level of service to clients, both internal and external, whilst adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Meeting commitments, working independently, taking accountability, staying focused under pressure as well as showing the ability to adjust plans to meet changing needs.
  • Standardising the approach to tasks and ensuring that tasks are done within a predefined time period.

Core Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand loan portfolios, primarily Real Estate
  • Working closely with the team to provide ongoing improvement of the daily functions
  • Shadowing and supporting Asset Managers with their Portfolio of loans
  • Writing annual reviews and event driven credit papers
  • Assisting Asset Managers with monthly reporting responsibilities
  • Liaising with external parties to obtain quotes for their services
  • Preparation of payments from Lender controlled accounts
  • Respond to both internal and external queries in a timely manner
  • Carry out a range of project related tasks
  • Other duties as assigned Skills and Competencies [Key skills, competencies and attributes required for success]
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Analytical skills to understand loan documents and borrower structures.
  • Experience of Real Estate Finance preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to adapt quickly and efficiently to clientspecific requirements and objectives
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and adhering to tight timescales.
  • Ability to operate proactively and independently, whilst also working well within a team
  • Highly motivated, organised and proactive 'cando' attitude
  • Highly competent in data handling, spreadsheets etc.
