The HICA Group has a new opening for a Care Support Worker at our specialist dementia care home in Hedon - Albemarle

Pay & Hours:_

- £10.50 per hour, increasing to £10.80 per hour upon successful completion of your probation period.

Days, Nights and Twilight (4pm10pm) shifts available.
Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)

The role:_

Personal care (washing, dressing, oral hygiene)
Assist with meals and drinks to support our resident's overall nutrition
Contribute and support during activities
Maintain and develop professional relations with families
Completing all relevant paperwork in a timely manner
Reporting any safeguarding concerns
Promote independence of our residents at all times to improve their quality of life
Assist with mobility and transferring safely e.g. from bed to chair
Observe and record clients' physical and emotional wellbeing reporting any changes

You should be naturally caring, passionate and committed to providing the best possible care
Be able to work as part of a team
Have patience, communication and listening skills
Have a positive attitude

The HICA Group is a 'Not for Profit' organisation providing a range of care services to elderly clients and people with learning difficulties, across a range of services, including our care homes, residential settings and in the community.

Albemarle is a specialist dementia home for 42 residents situated in the popular East Yorkshire market town of Hedon.
Albemarle is a two-storey residential home with a lift for access to the first floor. We have three lounges for relaxing, entertaining and socialising.

We also have three different areas of enclosed garden; one area having a greenhouse and vegetable planters that service users enjoy.
