Junior Estimator - Position Overview

To interpret and convert customer enquiries/specifications into accurate quotations in an efficient manner, in accordance with current policies
Working together with internal staff to assist with the successful conversion of quotations into orders and maximise company profit
To obtain and negotiate the best contract pricing from our suppliers
Answering general customer enquiries; advising product availability, delivery dates, transport schedules, and product leadtimes promptly and accurately
Entering and maintaining information and contracts on the database, as well as corresponding with customers and the internal delivery team
Liaising with the accounts department to keep customers within credit limits
Being sole contact for customers
Identifying possibilities of further/new sales with existing clients and meeting new clients
