The Enterprise Digital Experiences Team Member (EDX) is responsible for the product management of American
Express' proprietary digital products - Amex Mobile App, Web, Identity, Digital Commerce & Customer Personalization.
As a team we are focused on driving engagement, satisfaction, and revenue, through a combination of best-in-class user
experience and compelling features and functionality. We have a global remit and, with our partners across the company,
we bring the best of American Express' payment and related services to life through our digital experiences.
As Digital Channels try to keep pace with the evolving expectations of customers, we believe that Personalization will play
a pivotal role in driving customer engagement and satisfaction by demonstrating that we 'know our customers'. This
Product Development Analyst will play a key role in supporting the evolution of key Personalization products, accelerating
growth and embedding personalization across the Enterprise. If that fits your career vision, we'd love to hear from you.


How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Work directly with Product, Engineering and Decision Science teams within an agile environment to break down
requirements into user stories and own feature delivery end to end

  • Actively participate and at times lead prelaunch testing and post launch validation with key partners across marketing,
product operations, technology, and decision science

  • Partner with Analytics to assess the value of new features and conduct strategic analysis to recommend enhancements to our capability roadmap
  • Assist with creation of presentations for executive audiences and partners
  • Support the evolution of personalization, and the evolving uses of machinelearning & intelligence more broadly and their implications on product development opportunities
  • Support workstreams to continuously evolve and improve our underlying platforms

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working in digital product development supporting the E2E launch of digital products
  • Experience with agile product development methodologies and tools (JIRA, Rally, Mural, Invision, etc.)
  • Technically minded & resourceful with an aptitude to picking up complex processes quickly. Comfortable with changing priorities
  • Proven track record of positively collaborating with and influencing partners in a matrixed environment to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to analyse data to determine priorities, opportunities, and issues with a product
  • A strong communicator with the ability to deliver accurate, clear, and succinct messages to colleagues at a variety of
different levels

  • Proactive and enthusiastic selfstarter who likes to take true ownership over the areas they have responsibility and is
comfortable working across time zones

  • University degree, preferably in a business discipline; Product development, digital marketing, systems
management, or equivalent experience
