Junior Underwriter and Credit Support

£18k-£26k depending on experience plus bonus

Birmingham

Your Responsibilities:


  • Assisting the Underwriting and Credit teams with loan analysis and risk assessment
  • Evaluating financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant financial information
  • Participating in the loan underwriting process, including loan documentation and closing
  • Supporting the credit approval process and ensuring that all loan conditions are met
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate loan files and ensuring compliance with all internal and regulatory requirements
  • Assisting with ongoing portfolio management and loan monitoring activities
  • Providing support to senior underwriters and credit analysts as needed

Your Requirements:


  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of financial statements, credit analysis, and underwriting principles is a plus
  • A selfstarter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
