Description

Our client is a well-known and reputable HGV dealership with several depots across Hertfordshire, Essex and East Anglia.

Currently they are looking for an experienced Service Advisor / HGV Service Advisor / Automotive Service Advisor to join their busy depot.

EXCELLENT SALARY PACKAGE
Salary from £25,000 - £28,000

Bonus and Overtime also available

SHIFTS AVAILABLE
Week one: 07:00am - 16:00pm

Week two: 09:30am - 18:00pm

What you will do

Advising on technical queries or issues
Booking vehicles into the department for work to be carried out
Informing customers of the progress of their vehicle
Cross selling products and services where applicable
Finalising the invoice on completion of required work
Promptly greet customers in the service department.
Perform a walkaround of customer vehicle to document existing damage, tire condition, and note any opportunities to provide services.
Listen to customer's complaints and description of symptoms; clarify description of problems; check vehicle maintenance records.
Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
Generate service order estimates and quotes for customers.
Understand the technician's diagnosis and service recommendations.
Explain cost, service process and time requirements to customers in detail

For this role it is essential you have experience of working within a customer focused role within the Motor industry.

You also need to be organised, able to multi-task and manage a busy workload.
