I am enormously proud to have joined The Princess Alexandra Hospital as the Director of Midwifery.

I am now looking to build my senior midwifery team and as such I am excited to recruit to the post of Better Births Midwife, to join me and my existing team.

I am looking for an exceptional, inspirational, dynamic and highly experienced senior midwifewhose role is key to support the implementation of the maternity and neonatal transformation programme.

This will include working across the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS), supporting choice and personalisation, and improving choice, quality and midwifery care.

The LMNS wide Maternity and Neonatal Transformation team has an extensive programme of work, improving the quality and safety of services, reducing inequalities of health, and working with system partners to provide the best start in life for people in our community.

Your role is central to this, ensuring that women and birthing people are supported to make informed decisions about their care, and to enable them to dynamically update their personalised care plan and share with clinicians.
