We are looking for a passionate and experienced Health and Safety professional who is ready to make a significant impact to our business.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Regional Health and Safety Advisor covering sites across our Northern UK Region (will initially be based on a project in Cleethorpes, but will cover other projects up to and including Scotland).

Key Responsibilities:

As a Regional Health and Safety Advisor, you will:

Advise management on safety legislation and contribute to planning, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing protective measures.
Work closely with the Health and Safety Manager, assisting in induction, training, and toolbox talks.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
Analyse accidents and incidents, providing valuable statistics for managerial insights.
Make recommendations for system improvements based on observations and experience.
Liaise with Local Authorities and other statutory bodies as required.
Prepare monthly Health and Safety Reports and manage information dissemination through various channels.

Essential Criteria:

Relevant Civil Works experience with highlevel advisory and investigative skills.
Indepth knowledge of UK regulations (LOLER, Work at Height, Asbestos, Manual Handling, COSHH, CDM, PUWER
NEBOSH certification.
Training delivery skills with good IT proficiency.
Full current driving license.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable Criteria:

Post tensioning experience and/or experience working on Highways.
SMSTS Certificate, Master's level in relevant health and safety discipline.
First Aid trained and/or AP certified.
Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
