Year 1 Teacher Wanted - Southwark Primary School


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Year 1 teacher at a 2 form entry primary school in Southwark.

The role is to cover a maternity leave starting on 1st February.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to a Year 1 class
  • Assessing and monitoring the progress of students
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Communicating with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns

Requirements:


  • A relevant teaching qualification (QTS)


  • Experience teaching Year

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A commitment to promoting the academic and social development of all students
  • A team player and willingness to work with colleagues
