We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our Zone 3 team in Hull on Monday - Friday 14:00-22:00 shift.


Purpose of the Role
To manage, coach, communicate and develop their direct reports to achieve the day to day running of the business.


Principle Accountabilities

  • Deliver your key targets including but not limited to customer service levels, product quality and specification, waste management, clean as you go, holiday cover, daily manning, completion of process and production control documentation, accident levels plus any additional areas as identified by the company.
  • Plan, coordinate, delegate, monitor and motivate colleagues to achieve the production plan by maximizing the efficiency of the skill base available.
  • Promote good working practices and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures by colleagues and contractors. _(taking appropriate action where necessary)_
  • Identify colleagues requiring training and source appropriate solutions through line management and Human Resource Department.
  • Quality monitoring, deviance reporting and escalation of issues as per company policy
  • To effectively communicate with colleagues and line management as required
  • Always ensure stock accuracy.
  • To take part in root cause investigations, provide accurate details of running conditions/issues and actively participate in the follow up action planning where required.
  • Ensuring that a safe working environment exists and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set out in the SHE Policy and by the Site Health & Safety Manager.
  • Ensuring that Food Safety legislation and guidelines are adhered to
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as required

Experience and Qualifications

  • Must have at least 2 years production experience preferably in a food environment.
  • Previous management experience in a production environment.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Level 2 food safety
  • Level 2 health and safety
  • IT knowledge base

Salary:
£11.17 per hour
