SAT is a Leeds based tutoring agency that specialises in home education and SEND provision for primary and secondary education.
Over the past 4.5 years since we opened, we have helped students as far away as Indonesia, and work with local authorities all over the UK.

We have been commissioned to facilitate a lead teacher for an EOTAS package, predominantly working on a 1-2-1 basis with a young person on a farm, delivering vocational qualifications and teaching through farm based activities.
It is a wonderful opportunity to work in the outdoors, delivering an alternative educational package outside of a stuffy classroom.
As a Lead Tutor you will plan and implement the curriculum plan programmes, supporting and coordinating other tutors that work with the young person to assure their delivery and use of resources is progressive and in accordance with the qualifications the young person is working towards.
As part of the role, you will also work as part of a multidisciplinary team, involved in termly progress reports and meetings where you will present evidence on the progression of the young person you are supporting, and identifying any areas where additional support or resources need to be met.
You will have a close relationship with the family of the young person, and hence strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and record keeping are also required.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in working with SEND students
- Must have experience working with young persons with FASD
- Must hold qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Must be able to offer 3 days of termtime teaching (typically 93pm)
- Must have experience of delivering and quality assuring portfolio based qualifications
- Must be able to commit to 1 full academic year of teaching
- Must have a BSc/BA minimum qualification
- Must have safeguarding training at Level 1 minimum
- Must excellent recording and administration skills to meet specific funding, exam board and programme requirements
- Desirable to already be on the DBS update service
