Job summary
Opportunity for a Team Leader based at our depot in Hinckley, who will report to the Field Operations Team Manager and will be responsible for leading a group of Craft (operational) staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring your teams adherence to Health and Safety regulations
- Efficient scheduling of work activities
- Collaboration with other teams to manage workload
- Driving team productivity and individual performance management
- Maintaining a full schedule of work for the team
- Ensure our people have the appropriate training and work authorisations to support a safe and productive working environment
- Respond quickly and professionally to customer complaints
Qualifications
- Excellent communicator, who has the ability to build strong relationships with our customers
- Problem solver who is organised and can plan ahead
- Proven track record of managing teams including managing and driving performance
- Experience of being the point of escalation for both internal and external stakeholders
- Good understanding or the ability to quickly develop knowledge of: Electricity Safety, Health & Safety Legislation, Quality & Continuity Regulations 2002, Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, NGED distribution business, NGED Craft roles and activities undertaken
Skills
- Commercial and Financial awareness
- NRSWA qualification or understanding of NRSWA legislation

Leading an efficient and productive team across a region, ensuring they are working compliantly within H&S policies, coordinating programmes of work for them to undertake, maximising efficiencies in delivery, ensuring your team has the appropriate development and authorisations and effectively managing performance on a 1:1 basis.
