Internal Communications and Engagement Executive - 6-month Fixed Term Contract
Sharp's Internal Communications team create and deliver a wide range of strategic and tactical internal communications and engagement initiatives, campaigns and activities across Sharp UK to support delivery of business strategy and promote our culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the integration of Sharp UK following the recent acquisitions, to create one consistent set of communications and engagement channels
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, partnering with the business to develop collaborative communications solutions, by understanding the business agenda and challenges
Work in partnership with stakeholders to develop communications and engagement solutions which support making Sharp UK a great place to work
Support Employee Voice Group communications actives and drive EVG collaborations
Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business to ensure an understanding of each area, their goals, and objectives
Lead the delivery of initiatives, campaigns, and projects, ensuring they meet planned objectives.
Design and produce engaging communications solutions and content to inform and motivate our people
Contribute to the communications strategy and plan, taking ownership of some aspects
Develop project briefs and support other team members, to ensure project targets are achieved
ct as an escalation point for the Internal Communications & Engagement Executive role
Provide confident communications support and guidance to resolve communications and engagement challenges and issues, seek continuous improvement and demonstrate ROI through metrics and data analysis
Design and deliver content for communications channels to deliver consistent and timely communications aligned with our people vision
Manage budget for communications campaigns to ensure the cost effectiveness and efficiency
Person Specification:
Circa 5 years communications experience
Strong communication, listening and influencing skills
Professional marketing /communications or related qualification
Strong understanding of employee engagement techniques
Proven track record of designing and delivering internal communications
Exceptional verbal and written editorial skills
Proven experience delivering activity across the communications mix
Experience of using Adobe design software packages is desirable
Able to translate business strategy and people plan into practical communications solutions
Commercially with a curious and creative mind-set
Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient, ability to adapt to a changing environment
Open-minded and patient and always searches for a great solution
Able to give feedback and has courage to challenge appropriately
Proactive approach to problem-solving, able to understand the wider business context to support successful outcomes
Strong team player, willing to roll their sleeves up and get the job done
