- 38k**Skilled CNC CNC Turner, to work for a specialist manufacture in Newbury focusing on the manufacture of bespoke products. You will work with an established team, that work like a family You will be able to assist our existing team in fabricating parts.
You will be working for one of the worlds best in what they do within a purpose built state of the art factory that has had huge investment You wont be thrown in at the deep end as there is lots of training and support.
This role offers the opportunity to work on some highly specialist equipment and become one of a very few people in the UK with this experience.
You will have a background of Setter/Programmer CNC machinery of a similar nature.- Using a variety of CNC equipment, produce components that comply with engineering drawings and other supporting documents.
- Be responsible for the quality of own work, including the measurement of dimensions and where required recording them on relevant documentation.
- Ensure any issues related to the quality of components, the machines or equipment are reported immediately to line management
- Accurately record times taken against each operation, and in conjunction with Industrial Engineering team & the Machine Shop Manager feedback standard time variances.
- Sign off production orders with relevant information to ensure compliance within the ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Follow all health, safety & environmental policy & procedures to ensure the company upholds and exceeds its legal responsibilities.
- Maintain a clean working area adhering to all housekeeping requirements as specified by your line manager.
- Assist with the training of other employees, including apprentices.
- Use initiative and propose ideas to improve quality, productivity, and cost performance.
- Drive continuous improvement, including maintaining 5S & visual management to improve department performance.
- Other reasonable tasks as requested.

The role requires an individual who can problem-solve and troubleshoot independently, support Junior staff and work within the team to achieve the end goal.
