Recruitment AdvisorOur client is seeking a Recruitment Advisor, to join them on a full-time, temporary basis. The Recruitment Advisor will need to have inhouse recruitment experience, and be an enthusiastic individual. This is working a 37.5 hour week on a pay rate of £14.33ph and is based full time at the client site
- The role of the recruitment team is to enable the client to achieve its strategic aims and service objectives through implementation of effective strategies that ensure recruitment, development and retention of a high quality workforce
- The Recruitment Advisor is responsible for the daytoday provision of a comprehensive, integrated, up to date and professional career advice service. The role will be the first point of contact for advice on internal Recruitment procedures, legal requirements and external Recruitment enquiries on qualifications required.
- The post holder will assist on the delivery of a resourcing and talent management strategy and work towards achieving highlighted workforce planning requirements. The Recruitment Advisor will need to deal with employment and recruitment issues to ensure that decision making is consistent with current employment legislation and best practice.
- The post holder will also be involved in the development and delivery of Recruitment & Selection training and portal training for hiring managers as well as providing one to one and individual coaching. The role will also involve supporting the talent management programme and succession planning.
- The Recruitment Advisor will maintain specialist knowledge on policies and procedures.
- The Recruitment Advisor is expected to provide an excellent recruitment service to all hiring managers while overseeing the full recruitment cycle: advising and supporting on authorisation of vacancies via the recruitment system, advertising, leading or advising on shortlisting, setting up and leading on interview panels; providing specialist feedback; offer of employment and leading on recruitment checks whilst specialist knowledge on recruitment law and best practice is kept up to date.
- The Recruitment Advisor is required to recruit to the Workforce Plan and is expected to respond in a timely manner to given resourcing requests whilst remaining compliant with legal requirements and local policies at all times. The post holder is required to manage the recruitment workload associated with the departments and areas of the organisation allocated to them by the Senior Recruitment Advisor and work to personal and team objectives, deliver specialised knowledge and keep up to date with Recruitment Law.
- It is the post holders responsibility to ensure that they are fully compliant with policies and procedures in respect of safety, for example Risk Management, Infection Prevention and Control, Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
