Town Planner

Building and Construction Recruitment are delighted to be working on a Town Planner position for a home development company, specialising in high profile residential builds across the UK.

This position is paying £50,000 per annum and is based in Bristol
**Monday

Friday 9am 5pm**
Town Planner Duties:
Researching and designing planning policies to guide development
Designing layouts and draft design statements
Researching and analysing data to help inform strategic developments, such as increases in affordable housing provision
Developing creative and original planning solutions to satisfy all parties
Consulting with stakeholders and other interested parties
Negotiating with developers and other professionals, such as surveyors and architects
Attending and presenting at planning boards, appeals and public inquiries

- keeping up to date with legislation associated with land use

Promoting environmental education and awareness

Experience as a Town Planner:

Must be a Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI)
Have 2 Years Plus Experience
Used computer aided design (CAD) or/and geographical information systems software (GIS)
Excellent time management skills
