Macmillan Children's Books (MCB) is a division of Pan Macmillan and is one of the UK's leading children's publishers. We publish bestselling, award-winning books for all ages.

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to step into our Brand Marketing Executive role.

You will work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing to plan and execute campaigns for leading children's authors and brands including Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler, Sylvanian Families and Campbell Books.


Key responsibilities include**:


  • Implementation of effective brand marketing campaigns to drive sales of media, classic and publishing brands
  • Close collaboration with digital, trade marketing and publicity colleagues
  • Communicating plans to internal and external stakeholders including sales and editorial colleagues, brand owners and licensees
  • Managing social media content across multiple platforms and briefing digital advertising
  • Briefing designers on marketing assets and materials
  • Liaising with media agencies and influencers on campaign activity

We'd love it if you have:

  • A passion for children's books
  • Experience working in a busy Marketing team, either within or outside of the Publishing industry
  • Family brand or media experience is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • A positive, cando approach
  • A good eye for design

Salary starting from:
£28,000

This is a full time, permanent role, and will be based in our offices in Farringdon, London, with some flexibility to work from home each week.
