Description
HRG Recruitment are currently looking for a Stock Controller on behalf of one of their clients based in Macclesfield. Monday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 7am - 3:30pm

  • Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards, ensure goods are booked in and allocated space (locations ).
  • Ensure regulation of instock level complies with inventory parameters, so minimum flags are noticed and actioned as a priority before it becomes an issue
  • Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels
  • Oversee the standard of merchandising to ensure appropriate presentation of stock (easy to count and located into pick area ) liaise with Warehouse team on presentation and preparation to ensure accurate counting
  • Collaborate with production personnel to ensure manufactured products are of consistent quality
  • Engage in the forecast of supply and demand to obtain information useful in improving the continuity of supply chain
  • Liaise with the maintenance of the Warehouse and ensure proper arrangement of stock, in discussion with the Warehouse team and management
  • Carry out stock management operations in line with set product/retail policies and procedures
  • Utilise sage program in maintaining record of store execution performance
  • Conduct assessment of supply chain to identify risks and develop solutions useful in minimising losses, i.e.
Custom issues, time delays etc and feed this back to appropriate members of the team

  • Oversee the placing of orders and ensure requested goods are delivered on time
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with suppliers to enable easier procurement of products
  • Work alongside licensing personnel to ensure required products are readily available including materials and equipment
  • Ensure purchase inventory is within specified budget; agreed as a business readily notify the logistics / licences management when budget is close to being exceeded.
