"We are a very busy automotive paint shop looking for experienced commercial preppers.


As part of a larger Group we have grown over the last few years and we are now looking to expand the team to meet demand.

The employment is full time, 40 hours per week and secure. We are looking for people who want to join and remain with us for a long time.

The work includes prepping and general duties, working on a variety of vehicles, horse-boxes, vans, pickups, large trailers and specialist commercial vehicles.

We also carry out repairs and re-paints for our busy Service and Repair Department.

To be successful in the role you will ideally need to:

  • Be experienced in working in an automotive paint shop
  • Be experienced in stripping, masking, sanding, filling, priming and refitting
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Have an ability to prep vehicles for paint to a high standard
  • Recognise if a vehicle is correctly prepped and ready for paint
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Be prepared to work with others or on your own
  • Have a positive attitude to work
  • Have an understanding of Health & Safety hazards within a paint shop
  • Keep all areas clean and tidy

Salary:
£12.00 per hour

Experience:

- prepping: 2 years (preferred)
