Priority Childcare provide specialist schools, community homes, and community-based work-skills services.

Ty Trafle School specialises in working with young people whose complex needs and challenging behaviour require a supporting independent specialist school provision in order to achieve positive outcomes.

We aim to enable young people to feel safe and secure with learning experiences delivered by experienced staff and in an environment that helps them come to terms with their emotional psychological and physical needs.

We are an accredited provider with Agored Cymru and have a training centre delivering vocational and GCSE qualifications.


A typical day will include:


  • Providing high quality teaching and learning opportunities using a variety of teaching approaches and activities support pupils to make progress towards their agreed accreditations.
  • Supporting teachers with the planning, preparation and assessment of learning opportunities.
  • Assisting with the planning and implementation of offsite activities.
  • Assisting pupils who require help during morning routines, lunch/break times or with personal care.
