Job Summary:


Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and growing the Inside Sales territory in EMEA.

This involves managing a set of small to medium size accounts, calling on dormant accounts, and coordinating all first-line prospection across all industries that Aurorium serves.


Responsibilities:


Role Specific Responsibilities:


  • Consistently deliver on monthly and quarterly AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets of volume, revenue, and profitability.
  • Manage a territory of Inside Sales accounts, building customer relationships through regular, documented contact.
  • On an ongoing basis, coordinate orders, obtain forecasts, optimize pricing (value), and demonstrate customercentricity through the deft and coordinated handling of any customer concerns: technical, logistics, quality, and regulatory.
  • Together with Inside Sales colleagues, prospect and qualify all incoming web inquiries within 24 hours, and coordinate lead generation at all trade shows attended.
  • Maintain an active and robust project pipeline.
  • Manage selected distributors, engaging them in joint sales campaigns.
  • Champion valuebased sales and marketing system.
  • Perform "Voice of Customer" activities to gather unmet needs at accounts and potential new growth areas. Work with marketing to feed these needs into the New Product Introduction development process.
  • Drive customer interactions across the organization.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement of processes and problemsolving.
  • Take responsibility for own learning and development, and coach others to continuous improvement, sharing best practices.

Qualifications/Desired Skills:


Education and Qualifications:


  • University level degree is required. Chemistry or other related field is preferred.

Experience:


  • 35 years experience within a sales (preferred) or related role at a specialty chemicals company.
  • Proven track record (35 years) of developing sales plans and following up on the execution to achieve growth goals.
  • Successful experience using a CRM to facilitate growth, communication, and customer experience as well as competence with SAP.
  • Based remotely, but able to travel when required to the UK sites or internationally. (10% travel expected).
