About Our Client:


An exciting opportunity for a
Senior Designer in the Home Furnishings industry, supplying UK High Street retail and e-commerce sectors.


  • Creating exciting artwork to internal and external briefs.
  • Analysing the customer and competitors to spot design and colour gaps within the range.
  • Identifying seasonal trends and concepts for internal discussion and to be able to develop into final artwork.
  • Confident in presenting ideas to the customer and to design team members.
  • Designing to customer specifications and briefs.
  • Texture mapping product for presentations.
  • Preparing designs for colouring and printing, ensuring they are in repeat, and colour reduced.
  • Producing layouts and briefs for suppliers for the instruction of sampling.
  • Managing the development of samples from supplier to customer.
  • Liaising with the customer through the design selection process
  • Logging and organising of quality samples for development.
  • Archiving and cataloguing completed designs using Daminion software.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Design Degree in Printed Textiles and ideally with homeware experience.
  • Good drawing skills.
  • Knowledge of Ned Graphics or AVA, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Be able to work as a team and using own initiative.
  • Experience in soft furnishing têxtile design.
  • Ability to organise a busy workload and work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
