About The Role:

***Housing Management Officer

37 hours per week

£14.44 per hour

6 Month Temporary ContractThis is a full time position within the Housing Solutions and Home Point Team, working with in the Temporary Accommodation department.

The post holder will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective Housing Management Service for the council's stock of properties.

The role involves providing an effective void management service, liaising with contractors in order to turn properties round as quickly as possible.

To support and assist household's owed a duty under Part V11 of the Housing Act 1996 as amended, to move onto permanent accommodation.

The post holder will report to the Temporary Accommodation Team Lead and will be expected to follow all policies and procedures to ensure best practice relating to the service.
