Department Responsibilities:

The roles key responsibilities:

Staff management including annual appraisals, identifying and supporting training requirements.
Reviewing and supporting departments to ensure policies are up to date and seek and implement continual improvements.
Manage CAPEX projects in line with agreed procedures.
Planning and assisting the Procurement department with forward orders on Metal Raw Material and Special fixings.
Manage the company's Sustainability Programme in order to maintain current certifications and continue to build on the businesses Sustainability goals.
Customer / Client contracts review internal and external to make sure they are in line with ACS policies.
Experience managing a multi skilled team across the various department functions.
A good understanding of sustainability developments and legislation, and proven record of managing/developing sustainable policies and procedures
Experience in managing CAPEX projects and ability to work collaboratively with business departments.
Experience with managing indirect procurement.
Experience in understanding supply agreements / contracts.
Experience in producing and presenting management information and ability to communicate at all levels.
Experience in seeking continual improvements and ability to conduct change management and inbedding new procedures into a department/business.
