About The Charity


The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) provides lifesaving critical care to the communities of Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire, funded by public donations.

If somebody is involved in a serious incident or suddenly taken ill, speed and time are of the essence.

Giving a patient the best chance of survival, our Air Ambulance crew effectively take the A&E department to the scene of the emergency.


About The Role
We are looking for an exceptionally organised individual to take up the role of Exec Assistant to the CEO.

This role makes a vital contribution to the life-saving work of the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance by providing the CEO and the wider team with first-class administrative and organisational support.

As Executive Assistant, you'll be central to the smooth functioning of the CEO's office, ensuring wrap around support, great communication and efficient planning.

We have a fantastic working environment with the opportunity to see our air ambulance dispatched on a daily basis.


Key Responsibilities

  • To provide highlevel support to the CEO in a professional, timely manner whilst maintaining confidentiality and discretion where appropriate.
  • Deal with/filter queries and problems from staff, external contacts and the public, ensuring resolution in a timely and professional manner.
  • Diary management, including arranging internal and external meetings including all logistics.
  • To schedule and coordinate a range of regular meetings, including Board and Sub-Committee meetings, supporting the CEO, Chair of the Board and Trustees.
  • Ensure that Board meetings and Sub-Committee meetings content are prepared and distributed in a timely manner and to a high standard, following CEO's direction.
  • Drafting and checking agendas, collating and circulating papers, keeping minutes, pursuing agreed actions.
  • Produce documents, reports and presentations within tight deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Trustees, external contacts, staff, crew and volunteers.
  • Develop and manage an online library resource for the Board of Trustees.
  • Develop and manage appropriate administrative systems to improve efficiencies.
  • Organise crossdepartment meetings, awaydays and events, overseeing travel, IT and knowledge management.
  • Work with the Leadership Team and colleagues across the charity to ensure that departmental support needs are being met.
