CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring effective coordination within the consortium's network.
- Create milestones, draft delivery policies, supervise sessional workers, and prepare summary reports for management.
- Coordinate relief and support efforts for vulnerable members within the network
- Assess the needs of the community post pandemic.
- Collect data on various issues related to community development with the help of sessional workers.
- Hold regular meetings with member groups in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
- Develop and deliver ASVO programmes and activities in consultation with members to empower them.
- Develop a program to get Somali university students to volunteer and partake in ASVOs projects.
ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT:
- Record and collect statistics in partnership with members and the community, using ASVO systems.
- Submit and present reports to the ASVO Management Committee and project funders.
- stay up to date with relevant legislation, policies, and practices.
- Represent ASVO and maintain links with other agencies, community, and umbrella groups as directed by ASVO Management Committee.
- Ensure health and safety measures are in place for all people working at or visiting ASVO facilities and activities.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Attend staff meetings and appropriate training courses.
- Participate in supervision and appraisal meetings.
- Adhere to ASVO Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, and Confidentiality policies.
Please note that priorities and responsibilities may vary over time as ASVO's service delivery changes. Any review and subsequent changes will be done in consultation and agreement with the post holder.
