of Role

A Property Manager handles a number of responsibilities on a day to day basis. They cover secretarial and administrative functions.

They also visit the locations they are in charge of to ensure that it is being properly maintained and all equipment fixedand issues resolved in a timely manner.

They may take prospective clients on tour, prepare agreements and ensure utilities are connected.

The job of a Property Manager can be very demanding and the necessary skills are required to handle any problems that may occur.

They are also required to have excellent people skills and make our clients feel comfortable. They will liaise with contractors,plumbers and carpenters to maintain the properties.
The job role will include but not be limited to:
Dealing with reported repairs, following company procedure to diagnoses, offer remedy and maintain communication between landlord, tenant and contractor.

  • Touching base with tenants due to vacate their property and keeping all parties up to date.
  • Booking in check out inspections.
  • Assessing check out report against the inventory reports to clarify deposit deductions.
  • Administering any deposit dispute cases.
  • Booking in midterm inspections and organising the database.
  • Assessing inspection reports and updating landlords accordingly. Identifying negligent aspects of the report and follow company procedure to rectify.
  • Contacting both Landlord and Tenant 3 months prior to the tenancy end date and keeping the database organised.
  • Maintaining renewals of property certificates.
  • Minimum of 6 months' renewal / 3 year property management experience
  • Wellpresented, professional with a proactive approach
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills ability to work in a team and recognise important skill set required
  • Good IT skills particularly in the use of databases and software
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Ability to hit deadlines and exceed targets
This role is Monday to Friday
