Do you have a passion for sweet treats and snack from here and the USA? SoSweet have a very exciting opportunity for a determined and switched-on individual to join our ever-growing team as a part-time sales assistant and keyholder.

We are need a strong support-leader to help run our busy customer-facing environment.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Day to day running of a busy retail sweet shop, with responsibility of cash handling, staff supervision and a key holder.
  • Training new staff in correct procedures, stock rotation and practices
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service
  • Stock ordering and replenishment
  • Working days: Sunday, Wednesday and Friday

Required Skills:


  • You must be able to work independently as well as lead and work team
  • Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
  • Be confident in upselling.
  • Have good people skills within a fastpaced retail environment.
  • Retail experience in a supervisory role preferred (training will be given)

From £11.03 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Truro, Cornwall: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
