This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join and support our friendly, growing team.


About the Company


Seriös Group are a boutique data analytics and testing consultancy based in heart of Newcastle upon Tyne but operating across the UK and with clients globally.

We provide technology solutions, and we manage the solution delivery end to end. Our consultants engage with our client teams but do not embed themselves into their teams.

Our project deliveries can be fully managed by Seriös Group to the extent where we will develop and test in our infrastructure before deploying to our clients' environments.

Having formed in February 2020 we have built up a client portfolio in the big corporate space consisting of Technology, Financial Services, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Utilities, Manufacturing and Charitable organisations


The Role
The role of the Executive Assistant will be varied with no two days the same


Main duties will include:

assisting with stakeholder communications and documentation, managing the CEO/ Director's calendars, scheduling meetings, organising travel and events, general office administration, ordering of supplies and equipment, greeting visitors and being the main point of contact for office enquiries.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive, proactive and generalist, daytoday support to the CEO and Directors across a range of tasks.
  • Manage the CEO's diary daily, actively coordinating the CEO's schedule, including: organisation of meetings, appointments, conferences, travel arrangements and meeting conflicts as appropriate.
  • Manage the CEO/ Directors time effectively and in line with priorities and deadlines.
  • Use initiative to assess and prioritise incoming requests and enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produce and review documents, such as letters, client contracts and agreements, contract amendments and extensions, ensuring all contracts are signed in a timely manner by all relevant parties.
  • Attendance at meetings, taking meeting minutes as and when required.
  • Drafting and issuing communications as required.
  • Review and maintain internal records, ensuring they are always up to date.
  • Schedule meetings and events, assisting with the administration and organisation of events where support is required.
  • Regularly review office equipment and supply levels, reordering equipment and supplies when necessary and coordinating the distribution of supplies once received.
  • Collection of mail and parcels for the Company, distributing to the relevant parties.


The above list is non-exhaustive; you may be required to carry out any ancillary duties in relation to your role, in addition to the abovementioned list.


Qualifications and Experience Required for this role:

  • 3 years' previous experience working within a similar role within an office environment.
  • Prior experience working with Company Directors is essential.
  • Personable and a strong communicator who is able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/ Outlook/ PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently using own initiative.
  • Approachable, helpful and friendly manner; good allround teamplayer.
  • Focused on delivering to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to communicate at all levels internally and externally.
  • Flexible, adaptable, ability to multitask and prioritise own workload.
  • Experience of working in an effective and efficient manner.
  • A 'selfstarter' who does not require close supervision.
