Service Desk Administrator
Servicom (high tech) Ltd is a fast paced, rapidly expanding Telecommunications company providing communication solutions across all sectors including some of the worlds most recognised brands.
Working within the Logistics Team and reporting to the Logistics and Service Support Manager, the Service Desk Administrator will take responsibility for receiving repairs into the business and overseeing the repair workflow, liaising with our customers to update them on repairs and dispatches as well as other key logistic tasks.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Main duties:
- Updating customer tickets and records with repair and goods out statuses.
- Managing the workflow of customer equipment repairs.
- Sending faulty equipment for Third Party Repair (TPR).
- Booking customer equipment in for repairs.
- Maintain workflow activity in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
In conjunction with the Logistics Co-ordinator:
- Control of shipping and receiving of goods in.
- Stock control including stock takes, managing minimum stock levels, allocating new stock to internal stock management system.
- Management of physical stock.
- Validate and review storage areas including onboarding new products into the business.
- Always following correct processes and procedures.
- Analyse and optimise logistics processes and procedures working with Compliance to increase productivity.
Essential Skills
-
2 years or more experience in a fast-paced customer facing administration role or logistics/procurement role, or another related field
:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks to increase productivity.
- The ability to work as part of a wider organisational team.
- Fluent in English.
- Be able to pass a full enhanced disclosure (DBS).
Hours:
08:45-17:00 Mon-Thu, 08:45-16:00 Fri.
Holiday:
23 days plus statutory bank holidays.
Probation period:
3 months with minor KPI's added, Stage 2 and performance review at 6 months.
Salary expectations:
£22k-£27K commensurate with experience.
Location:
Redditch, B98.
Start date:
Immediate, however willing to wait for required notice period.
