Freight Forwarder to join the team at their
Basildon offices.

This purpose of this new role is to provide outstanding service to customers in the UK market by arranging clearances, providing quotes, arranging shipment/deliveries, invoicing and other activities involved in freight forwarding operations.

Responsibilities

Completion of end to end ocean import or export forwarding shipments
Preparing and providing competitive quotes
Arranging collection and delivery of shipments
Customs entries
Prompt and accurate invoicing
Resolving queries from customers and suppliers
Providing outstanding customer service at all times
Assisting Senior Forwarders and management where required
Working closely with the Operations Manager for Internal and external rates reviews.
