We work with labs across the world to understand their specific workflows and needs and develop personalised solutions that range from diagnostic and drug discovery to synthetic biology.

This allows us to simplify common automation tasks, while also supporting more advanced paths for specialised workflows, in a fast, flexible, and cost-efficient way.


We are looking for a Business Operations Administrator whose mission is to support the administrative actions of the business operations team across legal and sales, through the creation and improvement of processes, introduction of creative ideas and relationship building with commercial stakeholders in the business.


Why is this role important for Automata?


You will impact the smooth running of Automata's operations by empowering commercial and operational stakeholders to make data-driven decisions and meet legal documentation requirements.

By improving the day-to-day operations of the business, developing and implementing processes to increase efficiency and productivity and becoming a SME within the team you will directly impact Automata's success and longevity.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Driving change and creating the foundation for growth, specifically by creating fast, simple and credible processes, and implementing game-changing digital tools to improve how the internal teams conduct business.
  • Developing strong relationships with crossfunctional stakeholders across the full sales process, from the start of customer engagement to the end of the solution being deployed.
  • Becoming the champion for key digital tools implementation, such as GONG, HubSpot and GetAccept.
  • Developing the NDA process and database to make it fast, simple and clear for all stakeholders in our business.
  • Cultivating a partnership with our legal teams to become the 'glue' between legal and the rest of the business.
  • Choosing and implementing digital tools that will help drive the business.

What it takes:


  • Excellent customer service skills inclusive of written, verbal and interpersonal skills to effectively deal with our customer base.
  • Superb detail orientation, proven analytical skills and a demonstrable ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrable ability in problemsolving and resolving customer issues/concerns.
  • Ability to work well within a team that is goal orientated and passionate about their work.
  • Salesforce or HubSpot CRM experience.
  • A flexible, innovative and controlled approach to working in a pressurised environment.

Nice to haves:


  • Salesforce certification
  • Experience with GONG, GetAccept and HubSpot
