Join our Services_EMEA team within Services division in United Kingdom as Mechanical Supervisor to help us take the Avonmouth Service Centre to the next level.

You will be a skilled supervisor with the drive and passion to ensure customer requirements are met by being accountable for all workshop related activities.

In this role you will be accountable for:

Supervision of employees including assisting with HR matters
Ensue all technical information is accurately compiled for repair workscopes and quotes.
Monitor and review projects and all workshop activities to ensure optimisation of all elements to ensure thorough completion of projects and tasks. Use data to forecast amend and review projects elements for future tasks
Provide regularly updates to customers including answers to technical questions when required and support with other queries.
Participate in meetings and conduct regular workshop briefings
Proactively support internal initiatives to drive continuous improvements and maintain excellent health and safety standards.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Formal apprenticeship preferably in mechanical engineering
Previous experience of rotating equipment including dismantling, and assembling of rotating equipment and bespoke customer equipment (eg steel, marine and quarrying industry)
Advantageous that you have supervised and lead a team before
A methodical and meticulous leader who can prioritise, communicate and engage a team to meet and exceed targets set whilst maintaining the highest quality of project completions

We are based in Avonmouth with very road links to M49, M5 & M4. Avonmouth Train Station is just a short 10-minute walk from the Service Centre. Just under 10 miles away, Bristol city centre offers a superb taste of culture, food, history, and fantastic shopping opportunities
