Fire and Security Engineer (Fire biased)

Leicestershire / Northampton / Peterborough


The Company:


My client based in Leicestershire are currently recruiting for experienced Fire and Security Engineers (Fire biased) to join their growing team.

They provide the design, supply, installation and maintenance of bespoke Fire and Security systems, tailoringeach system to suit the needs of their client.

Working with only the latest, high quality systems you will be expanding your knowledge daily whilst offering a top service.


Package:

Up to £32,000 basic (with an achievable OTE of £36,000)

Door to door travel payments

22 days holiday + BH, rising to 25 through length of service

Company van, fuel card + private mileage (15p per mile)

Mobile phone and PDA

Training and progression

40 hours per week with half an hour for lunch

Training available (FIA, IPAF, ECS, Manufacturer training)


Main Responsibilities:

Install and / or Servicing Fire alarm systems

Install and/ or Servicing of Intruder alarms, Access Control and CCTV

Working to British Standards

Completing all relevant paperwork

Attending call outs as per call out rota - currently 1 in 5


Knowledge and experience:

2+ years' experience working on Fire alarm Systems

Full UK Driver's license - preferably clean but not essential

Experience on conventional and addressable systems

Experience on Intruder alarms, Access control and CCTV would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided

FIA's desirable but not essential
