Robertson Bell is working with this well known public sector organisation whilst they recruit for a permanent Treasury Manager. Reporting into one of the Heads of Finance this position is a standalone and vital role.

Duties for the Treasury Manager include:

  • Manage the cash position of the organisation daily.
  • Actualise and reforecast weekly, presenting and discussing these figures with the Head of Finance, Financial Controller and the Finance Director.
  • Review and update the organisations treasury policy.
  • Maintain the liquidity position considering potential risks through various financial models.
  • Respond to queries and requests related to loans.
  • Meet regularly with Investment Managers, the bank and other third parties.
  • Develop the organisations appetite for business partnering and approach to risk management.
  • Review governance around the organisations pension schemes.
  • Drive efficiencies and improve processes, working on various projects as advised by the Head of Finance.
  • Ensure all transactions related to investments can be facilitated.
  • Be an expert in cashflow reporting.
  • Have first rate communication skills.
  • Be capable of partnering with senior stakeholders.
  • Have previous experience improving processes.
  • Be capable of creating and adapting financial models.
  • Be able to demonstrate a knowledge of treasury policies.
