_This role is being advertised by Savills Management Resources (SMR) a wholly owned entity of Savills (UK) Limited but a separate employing entity which is not accredited by Real Living Wage Foundation._

Purpose of the Role


Work proactively as part of the technical services team in partnership with centre management, marketing, soft services & specialist sub contractors team to deliver planned preventative maintenance, reactive/repair works on the building fabric plus assistingwith promotional campaigns and general property maintenance.


You will be results driven and have a track record to enable you to demonstrate the ability to drive improvement to ensure first class relationships and the delivery of exceptional customer service levels are achieved at all times.


Key Responsibilities

  • Internal painting and general decorating duties.
  • Minor maintenance of building fabric, which may include assisting in door hanging, carpentry, small building works etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and Company policy.
  • Keep all plant/rooms / services enclosures clean, tidy safe and secure
  • Undertake any adhoc duties that may be necessary during the course of your working shift
  • To carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with statutory and annual maintenance program
  • Inspection and maintenance of all painted surfaces
  • Carry out other general maintenance tasks and assist other technical staff when requested to do so
  • Ensure standards of workmanship are maintained in order to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the building
  • Ensure all materials and tools are available and coordinate specialists sub contractors for both PPM and reactive works
  • To ensure company's and site's Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times
  • To ensure company's QA and site procedures are adhered to through all aspects
  • Maintainaccurate site records / documentation in association with all site works
  • To inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with call outs / repairs as required and requested by management
  • Carry out tasks within typical building environments which include high level working from platforms and ladders. All access and PPE equipment will be provided
  • Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner
  • Complete any other associated tasks requested by management

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

Good customer service skills

Excellent Communication skills

Must have sound interpersonal skills and pay attention to detail

Experience of working at heightwith powered access equipment

Appropriate skills and experiences

Flexible approach to working hours

**Desirable:
Time served apprenticeship or trade background

Experience in a multi-disciplined environment.

Full driving license

Training in safety management


Working Hours
09:00 -17:00
