Position Scope
At GBB, you will manage our ERP platform (admin, CR's, development) and its integration with other company platforms.

This includes being involved in short and mid-term IT system initiatives as well as laying the technical foundation for long-term success.

You will partner with the IT team, Suppliers and the internal business functions to evolve our technology landscape to meet the demands of our rapidly expanding business.

This is a key role that bridges the gap between technical expertise and business process.


Responsibilities
As a Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Technical Consultant, your responsibilities will include;

• Capture and document business requirements by leading functional analysis and design discussions, advising stakeholders on process/workflow/system best practices
• Design the endtoend functional architecture and solution design
• Configure Dynamics modules
• Provide Technical and functional Support to end users (ie support requests, incidents, integrations issues)
• Implement a maintain an internal Service Desk
• Custom development development, testing and implementation of code modifications
• Create training materials, provide functional training and support for internal stakeholders
• Work on System CR's and platform support
• Write user procedures and technical documentation for all developments.
• Manage the IT Partners to achieve their objectives.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has; strong Business Central skills as well as PM/BA skills. Is analytical, self-sufficient, hands-on, detail-oriented, collaborative and has the skills to manage multi-tasks/projects.

Key skills include;

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with MS Dynamics Business Central as a System Administrator, Configurator and Developer
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of core D365 Business Central modules
• Problem solver for operational needs
• Very good understanding of business processes and ability to adapt to specific business needs
• Experience in the Retail/Distribution Industry (nice to have)
• Understanding of 3PL networks, distributors, domestic and international manufacturing, and transportation
• Experience with Addons and Apps integration and management
• Microsoft Navision, SQL Server and Office 365 environment, Transact SQL, SSIS, MS Business Central, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, PowerShell.
• Scripting and customisation to create workflows/processes
• EDI experience (nice to have)
• Strong PM/BA skills
• Resourceful, confident under pressure, and skill in delivering complex solutions while effectively managing internal stakeholder expectations.
