Event Sales Coordinator Job Pack - download here**As our Event Sales Coordinator, you will become a critical part of the commercial events team. The role will involve managing all event enquiries and helping to support all areas of the Factory's commercial events programme across consumer and trader expos, through to e-sports, product launches, fashion and branded entertainment experiences to exceptional conferences.

An experienced coordinator able to lead on and manage multiple event projects with a passion for commercial events.

Reporting to the Event Sales Manager and partnering with our scheduling and producing departments, you will help drive exceptional events within Factory International, that mirror the organisations creativity, whilst providing valuable commercial revenue.

The key responsibilities for the Event Sales Coordinator role include;

  • Responsible for daytoday efficiency across all inbound enquiries. Converting enquiries into sales by building packages, quotes and maximizing revenue opportunities to contribute towards sales targets
  • Supporting Head of Events to ensure that commercial events are scheduled effectively, working closely with the scheduling department, producing and the technical teams to ensure that commercial events work seamlessly within the Artistic programme
  • Arrange and Lead client tours of Aviva Studios, home of Factory International
  • Schedule and manage client briefing meetings with wider stakeholders from across the organisation. To ensure production and technical requirements are accurately documented and requested to operational teams
  • Working alongside the wider Commercial Events team to develop commercial research projects that identify market trends, exploring future clients and commercial revenue opportunities. Contribute to the business develop and marketing strategies
  • Help to develop monthly sales reports, while maintaining CRM tools and resources
  • Work with Event Sales Manager to ensure that efficiencies are being maximized and all departments are working in unison to deliver the commercial objectives of Factory International
  • Working closely with Event Sales Manager to track and monitor against the business plan and associated P&L. Accurately communicate spend, income and post
- event billing information

The person specifications for the Event Sales Coordinator role are;

ESSENTIAL

  • Experience of working across multiple successful commercial events and conferences
  • Proven track record of converting event enquiries into sales
  • A good understanding of Event sales and delivery including a basic knowledge of technical equipment, event catering and venue operations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: ability to liaise with clients and peers within all levels of the wider organisation and beyond
  • Confident in face to face interactions and networking. Able to develop and nuture relationships with clients
- 'Can do' attitude, with the proactivity, flexibility and resiliency required to deliver results

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time and to prioritise
Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds


DESIRABLE

  • Experience of working with event and brand agencies. Understanding of Event Industry, corporate and public events
  • Confident working in Excel, PowerPoint and with experience in scheduling.
  • Experience of using scheduling software, for example
  • Artifax
  • Experience in live events and hospitality
  • Ability to use initiative when requires to go above and beyond in order to deliver excellent client experience and service
  • Enthusiasm for training, mentoring and support of emerging talent
