About the company
Our client a leading FMCG facility is looking for a Shift Manager to join their team in Hinckley.
This role is shift based and follows a weekly rotating mornings/afternoons pattern and Monday to Friday)

Shift Manager - Requirements

Packaging or FMCG background is preferred
IOSH/NEBOSH qualified
A safety first mindset and an engaging approach to health and safety
Experienced Shift Manager from within a high volume Production environment
Experienced in driving continuous improvement projects
A proven track record in investing in the development of your team
Able to work at pace, committing to deadlines in a pressured environment
A team player that can work collaboratively with other departments to achieve goals

Shift Manager - Responsibilities

Responsible for driving an increase in productivity whilst maintaining a high standard of health and safety, employee engagement, product quality and cost efficiencies, such as waste reduction.
Must have hands on approach with effective leadership and by creating a culture of continuous improvement, whilst promoting an environment for team members to reach their full potential.
You'll work in collaboration with your Shift Team Leader and closely with the Production Manager and other Department Managers to achieve Site targets.
